Martinez July 10/02 (Probably to Mrs. C. Stevens)

I start for King’s Yosemite tomorrow and will probably leave the club camp there for Grant Forest about the last of July. So I’ll likely see you and unless you wish to stay some time in the canon you can go to

the Sequoias with my party. There is a trail leading from the Kings Cannon direct to Grant Forest where the Hoppinys keep a comfortable grove camp house where you can get directions as to trails in the neighborhood to the different Sequoia encompassed meadows.

Wishing you a pleasant trip. I am sincerely
