Dear Mr Muir
I have received from you the letter from Mr Pinchot to you also one from Sen Perkins. I thank you very much for writing, and will promise not to bother you again with my affairs Your new book is grand. I wish the last chapter could be printed in pamphlet and sent broadcast by the Bureau of Forestry. it would do more to interest people than any work I know of. not only because it is a master piece of Forestry literature, but because you are accepted as the best authority on the subject With kindest regards for you and your family I am
Sincerely Yours
