My dear Mr Johnson
I wish you a happy New Year you & all the family. It begins to seem long since we opened that crevasse at the Ferry-Come on out to Cal for a while & rest & help us with this Redwood Park business-Yosemite improvements go bravely on. I passed through the Valley last fall. The Autobiography is still in the dim distance if any where. I dont believe it would amount to much anyhow--I was a good mountaineer therefore had few tellable adventures.
With best wishes Ever faithfully yrs
