L[oulu] P[erry] O[sborn]
My dear Mr Muir:
It was a joy, and an inspiration to see you again Professor Osborn will go out to see you early Saturday. His lectures are truly enjoyed. I have been thinking a great deal of yr plan of work, and a continued autobiography will be a gift for all time to Culture & learning and in this form, utilizing all
yr notes & such a fair, big field, for yr own thoughts and comments.
I hope you will dictate daily going right on, where Vol I ends. Let me have yr Alaska book when it is finished. Let me know if I can do any thing for you. Come to us, whenever you can.
Always yr friend
