Dear Muir:

Looking over your books ( as I frequently do) I paraphrased you Water Ousel a little, and enclose the result, unpolished, &c. Also the former effusion a little "corrected and amended".
I heard you was engaged upon your auto.? is that so. When completed let me know and will send for one.
We are well, but dont like the Islands a little bit- too wet & hot. We both long for the genial airs & sunny days of the Golden Stae. May be back next year. How are you. Would be glad to hear from you. Come & see the "Crathur", and incidentally- me, some time.

Yors &c.
