Dear Sirs:

Thanking you for your kind letter, I am,

faithfully yours,
[John Muir]

Dear Mr. Page: -

I thank you for your grand letter; it is a rouser that might well awaken slumbering writers, or even the dead.
My plans have not changed much, only enlarged somewhat in rambling around the world, I'm at work now on the Yosemite book, which I have to offer to the Century Co, Ere long I'll have something for your lively house, which I guess is simply yourself. Good luck to you.

Ever faithfully yours,

[Martinez, Calif.]
