[Robert Underwood] Johnson
[First draft of letter, in note-book]
[Robert Underwood Johnson] [January 22, 'O5].
Dear Mr. Johnson:
Many thanks for your last three letters, which arrived to-day. The great matter will probably be decided the day after tomorrow, and all signs indicate that we will win.
I'll tell you all about the Har[riman] influence after all is over.
I am reading Owen's book, and I think it will be a great success. I congratulate him [Owen Johnson].
