My dear Lukens,

I send you today by express a copy of Picturesque California, also a copy of same to Muir M. McKelsey whose address is Pacific Brass Works Los Angeles. Please drop him a line & tell him to call for his book.
In this book I have four chapters the best of which is Mt Shasta to which I call your attention, also to Mrs Carrs on Los Angeles.
I'll send photo of the children later All my memories of my visit to you are pleasant & I shall not forget the fine time Ive had under your kindness & the kindness of your wife
