I thank you for two fine books Bacons Essays & Paul & Virginia which arrived the other day from your publishers I shall take great pleasure reading your translation of Paul.
I hope you are having a good time in the salt wind & sunshine & will be delighted to see you when I return from my saunter in the Sierra I set out in a day or two
