Dear Mr. Millard:

I have been hoping that I would have a quiet ceanothus day with you at your Tamalnais homo before starting on my long trip, and the girls hoped to join me. But many small tirao-consuming carec have held me here. Can you meet me at Keith's studio about 12 o' clock next Wednesday and go out to lunoh with me? If not please tell me where I can meet you for a goodbye word.
'I leave the Dity with the President's Yosemite party about midnight May 14th.
