UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA
OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

Berkeley, April 7, 1903.

My dear Sir: -

President Wheeler is much impressed by your suggestion as to the danger of attempting too much. He asks if in your opinion it would not be best to change itinerary number five by planning to spend the whole of Sunday in the Yosemite Valley, to drive through from the Valley to Raymond on Monday, and to forego the Signal Peak trip.

Very sincerely yours,

[illegible]
