Dear Sellers, we were all delighted to learn that you were on the right side of the country & are looking forward to your arrival here. San Francisco is full of Eastern winter birds & I have not heard a single cheep or whisper of plague. Anyhow there is none at the Muir Ranch & we have lots of room. Let us hear from you again If you can't come here I'll be down there as soon as I can get a confounded article off my hands With sincere regards to Mrs Sellers I am ever Faithfull yours John Muir
