[DRAFT] [MUIR to RUJ] [ca1889]

You must not think because this sketch is lean & scrawny that I have slighted my task. I have spent 3 weeks of hard work on it & have done my best to give a view of the American forests as they were & are, & how they have been & are being destroyed. In broad sketching I was embarrassed by my knowledge, & in particularly by ignorance, but Ive just done the best I could. As an Editor with your finger on the public pulse, change the middle of the article as you like, but dont touch the head or tail of it as that is mine, own. Over

I have begun an article on tourist travel to our wild west in wh I sketch the National parks etc. You can have it if you like Let me know if you care for it
