Dear Louie

Your letter & Gregory came together a few hours ago, (it is now 12 as you may by this time guess since a midnight letter is now a habit & regular. Lost an hour with Gregory but sold the pears & Tokay & some muscat. Tokay 50 per ton - Dentist grinding an hour or two & loss of sleep & exercise made me dull today, still have made out to write 11 pages. Can always do something after start is made. Hope to get home about Tuesday or Wednesday Will have enough Rainier material for an article for Century left over since as it turns out the Sound Region has taken up most of the space allotted. Therefore will have to treat Rainier very lightly - a mere sketch in [illegible] Tell Wanda her letter is charming & I will answer it tomorrow. Tell Frank to see to the water in pasture

[in margin: Here is a littel more - look out for your [bedding?], with Love to all JM]
