[no place, no year]
[Yosemite Valley], Feb[ruary] 26,
[place and date taken from Mr. Gray's letter of April 9, 1873.]
[To Asa Gray]
Here are a few more plants for naming. The others I send in another envelope. Snow in glorious abundance is still coming, coming, coming, as if another glacial epoch were in contemplation.
You will probably receive this by April or May.
Another Sequoia grove has been discovered a few miles below Crane Flat on the Merced Slope.
Original letter dimensions: 33 x 21.5 cm.
