He has a window that let me see down into the depths of animal nature
But the little dull muggings was nevertheless choke full of vigor & heart full of Scotch hard headedness & patient endurance not a scholar nobody could justly claim that for him No Virgil & Horace in him. Hard-headed & warm hearted full of thought & independence but no scholar not a talker
The very blossom of fragrance of human emotion
This odd little fellow with 4 feet curled up on his stomach dull independent suggestive. How much he saw of the beauty & wondrousness of the nat [natural] wilds [some] will unknow
