Next day passed two fine fir forested basins with smallish [streams], like 2^nd can [canyon] descended can [canyon] of NF [North Fork] on [SW] side of [these], lower of these two basins

14^th camp on divide lol [between] N [north] & Mid [middle] Forks in dense Fir, on edge small sloping meadow. Next morning ascended ridge & following found trail descending near [junction] of N [north] & main [river] Camped 1500 ft above riv [river], [15^th] camp

Next morning found Inds [Indians] at Forks showed Trail for Thom Mills
