phenomena are so fresh, made a difficult problem for me as there is little or almost no washed moraine material found in connection with the small and medium sized glaciers of the Sierra. Here the problem was fully solved. Nearly all of the moraine matter of this glacier was not only rounded but roughly stratified before it traveled a single yard from the snout.
