Martinez March 15, 1914My dear friend,Your loving kindness is boundless in every direction. I wish I was able to put to use your kind plans for my comfort. I dont know when the next club meeting is to be, but anyhow I mean to pay you a visit as soon as I feel able. I'm getting well & fortunately am able for pen work though the amount ahead of me seems endless. Mrs Parsons comes from Berkeley a day or two each week to typewrite which is a great help. But I should have a secretary at work all the time.I was sorry to have to miss Dr Branner's club dinner
