[Ann Gilrye Muir] Mother
I also received your letter of oct 3d with the good news that your family were all well again after having so serious a time with the Grippe I think it was fortunate that you kept well so you could care for the sick. All the friends here are well except Joanna she has been sick less or more for some weeks, she expected to go to Philadelphiaby this time but has been dissapointed and will likely remain here during the winter. Bernice has been here this morning telling us that her mama is not any better. It is more than two weeks since Sarah went off on a visit to Annie in the country and has not yet returned but expect her home soon.
