21Martinez, Oct, 16, 1913.Dear Johnson:I think your plan of battle excellent & we must win1 As to my going to Chicago & Wash. I may not be able for several reasons. but some of us will.(2) We are hard at work on Women's Clubs(3) The San Joquin folk I fear can't do us much more good or ill than they have already done(4) Nothing to be got out of Lake Eleanor squabbles.(5) Sending out newspaper list to other papers etc etc., good & important in keeping our cause before the public(6) "We must get all our societies to work" Yes, Ive called a meeting of Sierra Club(7) "We must get Cabnet ministers, McAdoo etc to stand against Lane" etc Capital_(8) Write personal notes to Grosma Borah etc thanking them, supplying them with all our ammunition etc good
