I hope Emma and Birdie are both well we would be very happy to see any of you here My health is much better this summer than it was at this time last year but I feel the effects of old age more and more – this is what I may reasonably expect but my comforts and blessings are indeed very great – and then there is a bright beyond a happy home for the faithful I trust all of our names will be found written in the Lambs book of life in the [underlined: great day] that comes on surely May God bless you all is the sincere wish of your ever affectionate Mother
