Content Summary

This is the last volume of a comprehensive three-volume book on integral calculus. Eneström assigned Volumes 1 and 2 the numbers E342 and E366, respectively. This volume consists of two parts, along with an appendix and a supplement. Part I (Investigatio functionum duarum variabilium ex data differentialum cujusvis gradus relatione) contains three sections: (1) De investigatione duarum variabilium functionum ex data differentialium cujusvis gradus relatione; (2) De investigatione duarum variabilium functionum ex data differentialium secundi gradus relatione; (3) De investigatione duarum variabilium functionum ex data differentialium tertii altiorumque graduum relatione. These sections contain 6, 5, and 3 chapters, respectively. Part II (Investigatio functionum trium variabilium ex data differentialium relatione) contains 4 chapters, while the appendix (De calculo variationum) contains 7 chapters. The supplement relates to the differential equation of the elliptic integral.
