Content Summary

In this paper, a continuation of E226, Euler improves one of his results. He also gives an exhaustive theory of the flow in tubes, generalizing some of his results from E225. He also treats compressible fluids for the first time, and it is in this work that the complex potential for the source, sink, or vortex first appears. (Based on Clifford Truesdell's introduction to Opera Omnia Series II, Volume 12.)
