Moderator: Wendy Soe-McKeeman, Vice President of State Programs, California Association of Health Plans

Biography: Wendy Soe serves as the Vice President of State Programs for the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP). In this capacity, she advocates on behalf of member health plans participating in government funded health programs such as Medi-Cal. Ms. Soe works closely with various state agencies and the California Health Benefit Exchange on regulatory and policy implementation.

Ms. Soe joined CAHP in 2015 as the Director of Regulatory Affairs. Prior to this position, Ms. Soe served as the Senior Advisor for Policy Development at the California Department of Health Care Services, which administers the state’s Medicaid program.

Ms. Soe holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Global Studies and History from UCLA and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California. She is currently working towards a Juris Doctorate through the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Moderator: Niraj Chaudhary, Associate University Librarian, University of the Pacific

Biography: Niraj Chaudhary serves as an Associate University Librarian for Organizational Innovation at University of the Pacific, where he provides leadership in the areas of technologies, collections, learning environments, and public services. Before joining UOP, Niraj served as Head of Library Information and Educational Technology Services at University of Colorado Denver from 2008 -2016.
