27Martinez June 15. 1894My dear Johnson,Confound that old frozen article. More tinkering I fear will make worse still "an it's no right bobbit I suppose I must bobbit again" as the song goes.I have no copy & I have forgotten what I said about the Muir Glacier. I meant to give a general sketch of it and I dont see how I can do more in such a broad article without throwing things out of balance. Ill try to meet your wishes however if you send me a copy this portion. Davidson Glacier is at head of Ly[illegible] Canal as the text shows. Dease Lake near [illegible] of the Stickin[e?] RiverMany thanks for kindly adding to your innumerable cares, the welfare of my little book. The second chapter you advise omitting as technical I supposeBancroft Library
