Let me know how our account stands. John Reid has been trying to borrow two or three thousand dollars more this year to pay on that unlucky land of his & Sarah’s, & some others of the family are I fear in need of assistance also. I suppose you have heard of the death of Dr Strentzel my fatherinlaw. I have now to manage two large ranches, besides settling the estate as administrator & silence.
