Abstract

The effective management of temporomandibular disorders is a great service to your patients, and impresses both them and your staff. It can also be done within a busy practice, whether general dentistry or one of the specialties. Dr. Young will teach you how to manage mild to moderate TMDs through simple and efficient explanations, and will use real case examples to give you a chance to practice what you learn. You will gain a skill, with no additional equipment necessary.

- How to diagnose common joint and muscle conditions of the jaw

- To use conservative, readily-applied and evidence-based treatments

- When to refer, and how to work with the various medical and allied specialists
