Mrs. Nicole Joseph-Chin, one of the Caribbean’s most experienced and respected Social Entrepreneurs and Impact Strategists and the CEO of Ms. Brafit, is the inaugural CEO of Color in Residence. In her talk, Joseph-Chin discusses how we can use our voices and business tactics to create social and environmental change, positively impacting our community, society, or the world.

This event took place inside the Alex and Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House on November 2, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with a light refreshment reception from 5:00-6:30 PM on the patio.
Cookies were provided by Something Dolce Bakery, owned and operated by Natalia Toccolli, alumna of the Eberhardt School of Business MBA Program 2018.
The Eberhardt School of Business, at the University of the Pacific, launched its CEOs of Color in Residence Program in October 2021.
The program is a part of the Eberhardt School of Business’ Inclusive Excellence programming which is geared towards celebrating diversity in business leadership.
The program began in October and Mrs. Joseph-Chin kicked off a month of activities, including lectures in the Business School, The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, and the College of the Pacific. The CEO of Color in Residence program is designed to be multidisciplinary in nature and will expose Pacific students to a diverse set of business leaders from across the country and the globe.
University of the Pacific is the first university in California, founded by state charter in 1851. Initially located in Santa Clara, the university moved to San Jose and then to Stockton in 1924. Now, we have two other campuses in Sacramento and San Francisco, hosting many of our graduate and professional programs, while the Stockton campus houses many of the undergraduate programs.
