Portage City Wis

Dear Friend

From the Wisconsin of last evening I learn that you are enjoying a visit at your old home in Portage I feel much like intruding upon it and certainly would if it was practicable Since I cannot well go to to see you I would feel greatly obliged if you would make me a visit or at least a call on your return which I take for granted will be through this city
Mrs T is at present in Canada but will be home early next week I spent a month there last fall. Our 5 children are grown up and all at home and would all be glad to see you The two boys and myself are in the employment of the E.P. Allies Co I will be glad to meet you at the depot at any time and take you to the house or if you should not have the time you might meet me here or if you should not have even time for that I will meet you at the depot and be there while the train waits
Our house number is 548 Madison St and we hope very much that you will be able to make us a visit
Please give us notice

Your sincere friend
