My dear Cousin & all the Clan
I take pleasure in sending you herewith by mail a copy of my first book which I hope will interest you.
I am now pegging away at another on Yosemite Valleys etc. which I hope will see the light sometime next year. I have been at home all summer & therefore feel poor but hope to see yet more of the Lords blessed wilderness.
With love to all
I am ever affectionately
your Cousin John Muir
