Dr John Strentzel

Dear Sir

I have just returned from the Arctic Ocean where I met your son in law Professor Muir and promised him I would call on you on my arrival at San Francisco As my time is limited I find that Friday 22d will be the most convenient day for me to do so. Will be at your place on the train that leaves Oakland at 9.50 A.M. Yours very truly
