Pacific Grove. Calif.Jan. 2nd - 1909Dear Brother John:-Your letter and kind New Years greetings came to hand on the 2nd, and we thank you for your many good wishes for the New Year.Your money order was also received, and I at once had it cashed so that each might have their part. David and Ette, Anna and the children. I happened to have a letter written to Cecelia so I enclosed hers, and now I will send Grace her part also, and you will hear from them all in time.I send you many thanks for my remembrance and for your kind thought of us all.I hope the holidays have given you much pleasure with all the kind thought, and good wishes that come with them. I heard that you had been with Helen for Christmas and that would be a joy to you both. I hope you found her happy and well. I have not heard from her yet. I hope too that Maggie keeps improving. Have you heard from Mrs Lamam in the past year? I have not, and am wondering if she is not so well. Affectionately your sister Sarah.04390
