#2013 Walnut Street,Phila., Nov. 7th, 1908.Prof. John Muir,President American Alpine Club,Martinez, California. My dear Professor Muir:It has been suggested that it would be agreeable and convenient to many of the members to have the annual meeting and dinner in Baltimore this year in connection with the winter meeting of the Am. Assn. Adv. of Science-Dec. 27th-Jan. 2. I am writing to inquire if this time (preferably Dec. 27th) and place meet your approval. If you could arrange to come East at that time to preside at the meeting, it would give great pleasure to all of us.Sincerely yours,Secretary.
