C[harles] Hanford Henderson
25, April 1908
Dear Mr. Muir:
Thank you heartily for your letter of the 23rd. Mr. Gilchrist and I were sorry not to see you, but will hope for better fortune next time. I am to be a Californian,
at least in the winter time, and shall look forward to seeing you from time to time and talking trees and other things of worth. I do hope, dear Mr. Muir, that your daughter is quite well again now.
Very cordially yours,
C. Hanford Henderson.
