Mrs. [Annie] Bidwell
My dear Mrs Bidwell,
In your sudden Bereavement you have my profound sympathy. The life of your beloved husband has been long in years, longer still in good deeds. And now he has gone to the Better Land. He will live on in the hearts of thousands to whom
he was ever kind and good.
How can I comfort you? I can only mourn and rejoice with you, pray devoutly God bless you, and repeat that I am ever your friend.
