My dear Woolson
Your fine volume has just arrived for wh’ I am much obliged. I anticipate a most interesting ramble through its big geological pages
Putnam sent me the Abode of Snow some weeks ago & I have read it – but was disappointed in the book although I did find a small quantity of snow and ince in it
I am busy with my own little book wh’ crystallizes slowly slowly slowy. Love to Mrs. W
Ever cordially
