Mr. John Muir-

Martinez, Cal.

My dear Mr. Muir:

I was much disappointed in not seeing you again after our arrival at the Meadows, as I had a number of things I wanted to talk over with you. Will it be convenient for you if I call at Martinez some time before my return? I shall be at Hotel Carlton, Berkeley, several days next week & shall be glad to receive word from you there.
