Herbert W. Gleason
Aug. 14, 1907.
Mr. John Muir-
My dear Mr. Muir:
I was much disappointed in not seeing you again after our arrival at the Meadows, as I had a number of things I wanted to talk over with you. Will it be convenient for you if I call at Martinez some time before my return? I shall be at Hotel Carlton, Berkeley, several days next week & shall be glad to receive word from you there.
I am planning a 3 weeks' trip to the Kings and Kern Canons [diacritic], starting about Aug. 22.
Yours very respectfully,
Herbert W. Gleason.
