My dear Prof. Muir,

Tours of 3d [illegible] was a disappointment for us as it was dea[illegible] knell for our hopes of seeing uou, as I have been daily expecting word that you could give us a few hours of your valuable time.
Your delightful account of your trip made me feel as If I longed to be a tree-man and take the identical trip you outlined - you must not forget us as we have

headquarters and then return by Duluth for the Lakes as that is a trip one never tires of - This should reach you about Christmas and to no one do we a more hearty Christmas Greeting then to you.
Do not forget or overlook us next time and if you can spare the time drop me a line once in a while
