John Muir

[Robert Underwood] Johnson

San Francisco, Feb 3 1893

My dear Johnson –

I send you a few more Yosemite recession clippings. Should we be able to get a bill through the state legislature this session I feel sure the governor would veto it. What are the prospects in Congress for getting the Valley out of the hands of this [present?] management. Sooner or later the [illegible] park [would?] be over

Ever Cordially Yours
