Title
Friday, Wayne: Impression of Moscone
Abstract
Wayne Friday: I could only tell you that I remember George Moscone as a friend. He was somebody that I could pick up the phone and [Sarah Cupertini] would say “Wait a minute. The Mayor would love to talk to you, Wayne.” And who was I? I was a bartender on Polk Street, but he would take my calls like he would everybody else. He would take my calls as fast as he would Walter Shorenstein’s. He was a wonderful man.
