Description

Photo from Dimen Village of Wu Mnci warping white thread on a backstrap loom. Black, white, pink, yellow and green warp are already wound across the bench, around the metal cylinder that will serve as a shed rod and the weaver's sword. All odd revolutions go over the weaver's sword and under and around the metal shed rod. All even revolutions go under the weaver's sword and over and around the metal shed rod. She just wrapped the yellow warp around the shed rod, exiting at the bottom and will now stretch the warp across the bench to its far side and wrap it around the bench.
