85 Boulder of slate on view of mors [moraines] v [very] fine [Mt] Lyell gl [glacier] most powerful. Cut deeper than Dana Mor from shoulder of gray & Dana. All N tribs [tributaries] insignificant

86 Rock [sketch] of Tuol [Tuolumne] Soda Springs 800 ft high. Finely modelled & polished. Feldspar crystals project as in [court] it [ ] & also resembles in form. Ice overswept steadily & in reaching top dropped suddenly [sketch] this Angles were worn this showing that the block removed wh [forced] the angle gave way
