(Aug [August] 6) calm balm [balmy] morn of earnest hopeful light of love Robins happy because plenty of huckleberries on edge of [ ] [jays] [ ] [ ] pine needle drinking light Flies hum, butterflies breakfast on golden [comps] Squirrels the small orange bellied gray is very loquacious He is the mocking bird of sqrs [squirrels] in [poems] of chatter & song He imitates plover perfectly & screams like hawk & chirps & [drips] like blackbirds & sparrows
