Because this was not ready, but in that now approaching the earth will undergo a change in its [physical] features, climate soil etc. Its mtns [mountains] will be leveled in vals [valleys] exalter, swamps & sickly places drained while its burning deserts & frigid regions will be redeemed and rendered fruitful. The [form] and lat S [latter day saints] will receive an inheritance here & build on and improve it for 1000 yrs. The heathens will also be redeemed and be exalted to the privilege of serving the saints. They will be the plough [men] [wind worn] guardians builders etc while S [saints] own all the soil & real estate & other precious things. A wise system of agriculture will be developed and [extended] over all of the earth. RR [Rail roads] & telegraph lines of [educating] will be universally extended and loco [locomotion] of steam [brought] to perfection. Mineralogy will be improved and its hidden treasures [explained] developed. Gold, sil [silver], & the most beautiful precious stones will be the building material in common use and [campers] furniture & utensils, wires with these more fruitful than ever. From P. P.
