Sarah [Muir Galloway]
Pacific Grove, CaliforniaSept 27 - 1909Dear brother John:-It is a long time since I have heard from you. I suppose you are still as busy as ever with many things and have little time to spare. In a letter David wrote to Ette he said that you were going to visit Helen. I have not heard from her for a long time and am wondering if she is keeping well, and still enjoying her home in the desert. She has been there so long she will have many friends about the place.I hope you are keeping well yourself.I had a newspaper from Maggie Lanam lately showing what a place of resort Dunbar is now, the visitors list is a long one. I must write to them soon. You will have heard that Kenneth is attending school at Los Angeles, the Polytech[illegible] that is near to Mr Guidinyer's place, he is with them and Aunt Maggie Foster. We miss him here.I saw an article in a San Jose paper telling of the fine time the Sierra Club had on their outing this year and your name was with the others who04594
