Home Sep. 10, 1909Darling Helen:Am so glad that "everything's lovely" with you. Your "exciting weather is so well described that I hope you are faithfully keeping up your journal. It would prove invaluable to you should you ever have to write for the press as I trust you may some of these days.Very soon the grapes will be edible & you will be well supplied.Bertha's twins were taken home last Sunday. They are looking fine. Bertha is stopping a week with May for a change. She of course wants to be with her babes but fear of their keeping her awake makes her friends keep them apart a while. Wanda is having a great time at Berkeley this week with the Fibetta Fi folk, almost a whole week of it. Ever devotedly John Muir
