Home Apr. 20,/08Darling Helen,I was glad to get your cheery all-well letter[s?] of the 17th & 18th. The warm days must be fine for you but look out for sudde[n?] night chills. Tom came from Berkeley last eve with report that Wanda's all right & means to visit you in a week or so.I went to S.F. Saturday, paid Colby your Club dues - met McHughes on the boat. He enquired very kindly for you & told me to thank you for a photograph you had sent.I'm doing pretty well camping in the old home tho lonely working on Stickine -Ever your devoted fatherJohn Muir
