Home, May 14, 1908Darling Helen; The Deeds are at last signed, & I hope will be found correct. W[a?]nd still intends trying to get of on Saturday's No 8.The weather has been unsettled for a week or so - showers & sprinkles & wind. Today we had quite a shower - hard on your hay crop wh Fong cut yesterday. Never mind the Home. Someone will buy it or I will myself - any how we have had one good year of enjoyment out of it which is pretty fortunate in this "vale of tears" - & sons-in-law, & it will always be more & more beautiful while we own it. Lasalle paid back the amount of that bill - all except the last small item. Let me know when you want more money. Dont talk business of any sort with Wanda or T. But rest rest rest & grow strong both of you. With all love,J.M.
