Daggett, Cal. Oct. 7 -Dear Papa -All goes well here, and Im feeling fine as ever. We are having a little rain this morning, it began last night, but dont amount to much. Mr Van Dyke is still away. No one has heard from Mary for a week or so. Mr Manson's Mother was here two days, left for San Bernardino yesterday. The work here on the ranch goes on as usual.
